Ive always been seen as different
Im learning more about how and why
Things make better sense
When I know how to get by

People are different in many ways
And difference is nothing to fear
There is so much to be learned
When I really listen to what I hear


Parents teach their children
And the other way around
There are many sources
That wisdom can be found


Learning never seems to take the straight path
But Im learning as I go
That people want to know how much you care
Before they care how much you know
